Cheddar Vale Lions would like to say a huge big “thank you” to everyone who supported us during the Christmas season, whether it was buying Christmas raffle tickets, donating to the Tree of Light, giving gifts of humanitarian aid for Ukraine or just coming and chatting to us when we were out and about. A special mention must go to the lovely knitters of the Wells and Wedmore knitting groups who made some lovely colourful gifts to keep the youngsters and elderly warm this winter in Ukraine – they were very grateful when it was taken over at the beginning of December and again on the 19th December (just in time for Christmas!).

We are holding a Jumble Sale on Saturday 21st February at the Village Hall, Cheddar. Doors open at 2:00pm and entrance is 50p. If you have anything to donate please ensure it is good condition and we are unable to take electricals or furniture; the doors will open from 12 noon.
