Cheddar Gorge Visitor Information Centre open every day

Cheddar Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is now open every day until end October, 10.30-3.30 weekends, school holidays and half terms, mornings only on weekdays in term time.

The VIC has made an excellent start to the 2026 season with good visitor numbers, and volunteers who run the facility benefiting from recent improvements to the building. The gorge too has some significant improvements, with a paved pedestrian area where Cox’s Mill once stood opening up the view to Lion Rock and the cliffs, and upgrades to the popular clifftop circular path.
