Burnham-on-Sea Bowling Club: A Proclamation!

“Oyez, Oyez, Oyez! Let it be known by the townsfolk of Burnham and Highbridge in the County of Somersetshire that our esteemed Mayor, accompanied by his loyal Towncryer, has most graciously assented to open our bowling green at 3 o’clock, Saturday 11th April, the year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Twenty Six.

“All are welcome to attend this joyous occasion, perhaps to partake of a jug of ale or cider. God save the King!”
