Independence Day
We love the idea of freedom and independence. Wanting children to grow into capable adults and elderly relatives to cope well. Freedom of speech is a worthy cause. Yet we rely on others for basic services each day. Maybe we are not as independent as we think. When things go wrong we seek help. One day we will realise we need God. He is dependable: “Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
