David Drew – Bombing the Gestapo HQ in Copenhagen, Operation Carthage.

Thursday 26th June at 19:30. David will describe the history and some of the characters involved behind this daylight raid by RAF, Australian and New Zealand aircrews flying Mosquitoes, including the raid itself, its failures and successes. In 1995, he had the opportunity to talk to many of the survivors of the bombing, both aircrew and Danish civilians, including members of the Danish resistance. So he is well placed to talk on this important piece of history from WW2.
