Battle of Britain 85th Anniversary

Battle of Britain 85th Anniversary Commemoration Service Sunday 14th September

If you’re looking for what’s on in Shepton Mallet this September, the Royal Air Forces Association Mid-Somerset Branch will commemorate the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain on Sunday 14th September with a multi-denominational service at St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 6 Park Road, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5BP, followed by the laying of wreaths at the Shepton Mallet War Memorial.

The Deputy Lord Lieutenant, High Sheriff, the Mayor of Wells, and other dignitaries will attend, together with Air Cadets from 1182 Shepton Mallet and 1955 Wells Squadrons.

Current and former RAF and Commonwealth Air Force personnel, along with members of the public, are warmly welcome.
