Join us on June 17 for a quilting talk by Tina Mclaren at the Folk Hall.

Sew you think it is easy. Tina Mclaren takes us into the colourful and intricate world of quilting. Dating to ancient Egypt, it is an art form genuinely termed upcycling as offcuts are often used. We will learn some of the techniques and the talk features Tina’s own handmade quilts. After the talk, we will have our tea break and raffle with a chance to mingle and chat.

Wednesday the 17th of June, 2026, the Folk Hall, Portishead. 2pm. The meeting is from 2pm to 4pm. Members free, visitors £4.
